We’re all drooling because Paris – the world’s most romantic city plays host to Europe’s biggest Food Fair and Pacific Trade & Invest (PT&I) is inviting Expressions of Interest from Pacific Island food & beverage exporters.

The two-yearly event called the Paris Salon International de’ L’Alimentation 2016 or SIAL Paris will be held from 16-20 October at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte in Paris. The location offers exposure to some of the world’s finest restaurants, cuisines not mention exposure to 155,000 trade professionals from over 194 countries who will attend the fair. (More info at http://www.sialparis.com)

It is against this magnificent and historic background – the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe – that the Pacific Islands Trade & Invest is offering the best Pacific Islands Food and Beverage exporters, six places in the exhibition an opportunity to capture the imaginations and discerning tastes of European buyers seeking quality products from distant Pacific Island shores.

Successful Pacific Island food and beverage exporters will have the opportunity to tap into the rich vein of retail, trade, food service and catering markets and arterial access for high quality products in to the European markets.

This will be PT&I’s second participation at this international food fair led by one of PT&I’s most experienced Trade Promotions Managers, Robyn Ekstrom. The Expressions of Interest (EOI) for exhibition participation at the Paris Food Fair 2016 must be in by May 16, 2016 and can be obtained by contacting robyn.ekstrom@pifs-geneva.ch or visiting www.pacifictradeinvest.com to download a copy of the EOI.

With the high calibre nature of the exhibition, PT&I will meet all the trade show exhibition stand costs.  But successful participants will be required to meet their own costs of return airfares, visa, travel insurance, accommodation, freight, meals and incidental costs whilst in Paris for SIAL 2016.  They will also need to provide feedback via survey and report on sales generated on completion and at six monthly intervals post event. (All the information supplied will be treated as commercial information given in the utmost confidence and will only be used for internal reporting unless otherwise agreed.)

Comments from previous participants were positive with some finding their experience a true eye-opener and a vision into the enormous possibilities and opportunities offered by such a large market place.
