Pacific exporters: Join the survey – there’s a cool prize to win

The Pacific Island exporters of goods and services that was launched a couple of weeks ago has generated a good response, reports the Pacific Trade & Invest Sydney office.

On the conclusion of the survey, a random winner will be drawn from the pool of completed entries.

However, more organisations are encouraged to participate in order to garner a broader range of responses and views.

The survey, called the 2016 Pacific Export Survey, is an initiative of PT&I and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Exporters are invited to participate in the survey, if they haven’t done so already.

The online survey, which takes no longer than ten minutes to complete, is the only comprehensive survey of its kind in the region that goes directly to the exporters of goods and services (such as tourism businesses) to ask for their views on a range of matters.

On the conclusion of the survey, a random winner will be drawn from the pool of completed entries.

The objective of this research is to obtain a better understanding of the diversity of industries and businesses in our region, their size, shape, as well as opportunities and challenges – particularly with regard to international trade.

The findings will be discussed at various regional forums and with national Governments to address some of the challenges faced by export businesses in the Pacific region and identify potential solutions.

Responses to the survey will be treated with strict confidentiality and presented in aggregate form only.

There’s a grand prize to be won, too. Pacific Island based exporters are eligible to go into the prize draw and a lucky participant will win a brand new Macbook Air 13-inch laptop with Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD graphics 6000 and 128GB flash storage. The prize is certainly worth taking the survey for!

On the conclusion of the survey, a random winner will be drawn from the pool of completed entries. The winner will be notified by email and the result will be publicised through Pacific Periscope and the PT&I Facebook page.

To those of you who participate, thank you for letting your voice be heard.
